This position resides in the Asset Management and Centralized Services Organization.
The Distribution Business Team Member work as a team member for providing business support of DWMS work management processes and business systems utilized by Asset Management and Centralized Services, Gas Delivery, Electric Delivery and Transmission. The business systems include but are not limited to SAP and CAD. Support the administration of the SAP technical master data, customer master data and maintenance plans. Provide business management of MDT's, assisting IT with the development of hardware and vehicle mounting specifications, provide field support, system testing, troubleshooting, hardware and software upgrades.
Develop and maintain policy and procedures for the business system process and system use. Identify and drive system enhancements to improve business processes. Provide insight and working knowledge for system trouble ticket resolution, minor changes and associated testing. Validate work management data, create and maintain completion records and field reports. Update system data as required, provide training and productivity reports.
A key responsibility is to ensure the proper data is being collected and utilized thru ad:hoc and/or "canned" reports to ensure the maximum value is being extracted from the business systems. Support data integrity through system audit capabilities and utilize analysis to evaluate processes for gaps in creating or maintaining data.
Work with IT system experts and IT support staff to investigate reports of system defects. Participate in cross:functional planning and testing. Partner with associates across departments to facilitate business processes and system support. Support business processes in developing and communicating relevant documentation, including training materials related to system changes. Adhere to project schedules and milestones.

:Functional knowledge of CAD, DWMS and SAP business systems.
:Ability to locate and extract data from business systems and to produce ad:hoc reports.
:Demonstrated knowledge of Electric delivery and Gas delivery business processes.
:Strong organizational and analytical skills. Strong working knowledge of IT.
:Excellent oral and written communication skills. BA or BS degree or equivalent experience.
