Purpose of the Role:
The Manager, Strategy and Competitive Intelligence for Mars Wrigley Confectionery US reports to the Senior Strategy Manager and plays an important role in the successful development and execution of new brand development. This position requires a candidate with exceptional drive and energy, who can build strong peer relationships quickly, and deal with ambiguity. The candidate must have strong analytical and financial skills, high capacity and potential, highly effective verbal and written communications skills, and the organizational agility to influence at all levels of the organization.
:Work with the Senior Business Development Manager to manage new brand development for Mars Wrigley Confectionery US, developing situation assessments, identifying opportunities consolidating consumer and customer insights, to develop a distinctive value:added proposition.
:Facilitate successful execution of demand plan. Work with activity management, R and D, Supply and other functional areas to translate strategy into operational plans that meet tight deadlines. Report strategy execution to the CLT and CLC
:Work with the Global Business Development to lead regional execution of new brand development. Update global team on local progress and share in:market best practices with global team.
:Presentations and communications : create strategic presentations for Regional Leadership team, CLT, CLC, Global etc. as required in order to articulate strategic direction, execution, performance tracking etc
:External benchmarking : Provide insightful competitive intelligence to facilitate and provoke the leadership teams on new brand development. Provide external benchmarking of business practices against best practices in other startups, companies and industries. Manage external relationships with relevant venture c
