The Representative is responsible for client service and administration of group annuity contracts that fund pension plan obligations from our pension risk transfer business.

Primary Responsibilities

:Review and interpret contract language relative to calculating and processing retirement benefits
:Process benefit payments to retirees in our annuity payment systems
:Review and interpret contract language and retirement certificates relative to death benefits payable as a result of an annuitants death
:Review retirees forms and other supporting documentation for completeness and accuracy
:Handle inbound phone inquiries from retirees and/or their family member(s), financial institutions, and contract holders.
:Process routine financial and non:financial activity on client accounts with both expediency and accuracy
:Proactively manage assigned caseload
:Assist with projects as needed

Desired Skills and Experience
:Bachelors or associates degree preferred
:Strong analytical and problem solving skills
:Strong computer skills, including Word and Excel, with the ability to navigate multiple applications
:Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask
:Excellent oral and written communication skills
:Customer service experience
:Ability to work independently while remaining flexible to meet team goals
:Ability to follow established procedures and stay current with internal control procedures

Shift Information

Position is for the hours of 9 to 5, Monday to Friday.
