The company operates within the Health Care industry.Provide leadership and support of the programs including ongoing program maintenance. Will assist in the development, planning and implementation of new program elements.Function as a resource for all aspects of patient care delivery related to population in collaboration with physicians, surgeons, perfusion, and multidisciplinary team.Organize and direct case review sessions with the multidisciplinary team on a regular basis.Provides staff support in the development, implementation and evaluation of clinical care pathways, case reviews, algorithms, clinical procedures, guidelines, protocols and standing orders.Develops, monitors and prepares reports for the Center for Heart and Vascular Health and Senior leadership on PI/QA metrics, volume, department performance, and patient outcomes.In collaboration with others, participates in identifying needs, planning and implementing educational programs for VAD and ECMO including lectures/simulation/lab training for the programs for hospital health care providers, EMS, and assigned specialty areas, and community as appropriate.Incorporates appropriate teaching and learning principles into the design and delivery of educational programs, seminars and materials.Responsible for maintenance of registries to include data entry for ELSO and VAD. Maintain/build data and analysis that enables PI/QA real-time feedback to all parties involved in care of patients in the programs.Plans, coordinates and performs activities related to regulatory surveys for the programs.Facilitates on-going regulatory compliance for program and identifies gaps with appropriate plans to address and close gaps to achieve outcomes and achieve compliance with regulatory standards.Effectively communicates with independent physicians to understand their respective needs and expectations, to build relationships, and to gauge referring physician/patient customer satisfaction.Will help develop and implements local and regional transfer ECMO patients in collaboration with Cardiac Surgery, Section of Cardiology, Perfusion, Transport., Emergency Medicine, EMS Liaison, nursing, and other multidisciplinary team members.Graduate from an accredited school with a Bachelors degree.Masters in Nursing or working toward is preferred.Minimum of five years recent Advanced Heart Failure, MCS or ECLS and previous experience managing VAD and ECLS programs required. A combination of experience and education may be substituted.RN licensure in State of Delaware.Current BLS and ACLS certification required.
