Summary:
The Offshore Third Party Manager (TPM) is responsible for managing a portfolio of Offshore Third Party vendors and engagements that supports all business lines across MUFG (e.g. Technology, Shared Services, and Retail). The TPM will follow a set of procedures in support of Third Party Risk Management Policy and the TPM Program. Activities include preparation to enter and then execute Transition, Monitoring & Oversight and Termination.
Responsible for ensuring that all phases of the Third Party Lifecycle are completed. Responsible for Due Diligence phase, including completion and update of the risk assessment questionnaires. Consults with the relevant SMEs during Due Diligence and Ongoing Monitoring phases and acts as single point of contact (SPOC) for Third Party s completion of SME-driven questions or documentation requests.
Major Responsibilities:
The TPM will
* Conduct Transition, Ongoing Monitoring & Oversight of engagements, including: Periodic Risk Re-assessments, Regular Business Reviews and Onsite Reviews. The TPM will hold regular meetings with vendors to develop a set of performance measures and will ensure that the terms and conditions of the agreement are being met and stored in the Third Party Risk Management System (TPRMS).
* Consult with by Sourcing and Contracts (Sourcing/Procurement) for completion of Contract Execution phase.
* Responsible for ensuring issues and risks are appropriately remediated or escalation protocols are followed.
* Responsible for Transition Execution phase, in partnership with SR and other parties as necessary.
* Responsible for the Termination phase. Consults with SR throughout all phases of Third-Party Relationship Lifecycle. Responsible for quality of documentation in First Line and the TPRMS.
* The TPM will work closely with Service Requestors and Project Managers in the transition and onboarding of new vendors and engagements, ensuring that Project Life Cycle, Third Party Risk Management (TPRM) Program Life Cycle, and contracted requirements have been met.
* The TPM will ensure that business contingency & exit strategies and plans are in place and validated as required.
* The TPM will proactively identify, manage, mitigate and report on risk items discovered throughout the portfolio management process.
* The TPM will work closely with all related SME Groups in the management of their portfolio, to coordinate activities across the lifecycle, manage risk, and ensure a clear understanding of the vendor management and engagement activities. Among the SMEs include: Project Managers, Sourcing, Legal, Audit, Compliance, Information Security, Business Continuity, and Service Requestors.
* Experience in oversight and governance of Offshore Delivery Centers.
* Hands on experience with India based operations and third parties is required
* 5 or more years in managing offshore delivery center engagements
* Experience in outsourcing of IT and BPO required.
* Experience with Vendor Management and Risk Management
* Experience with Government and Financial Services Industry Regulatory requirements related to outsourcing and offshore is preferred
* Strong MS Office Skills (Excel, Word, PPT, SharePoint)
* Strong quantitative/analytical skills
* Strong interpersonal communications skills, tact & diplomacy
* Ability to tailor message to audience, summarize for executives
