Purpose of Role:
Activation of Mars Wrigley Confectionery's portfolio of Snack brands (goodnessKNOWS(R), Combos(R), and Munch(R)) with shoppers in key channels and accounts and with consumers in priority local markets.
This includes customer:centric and insight:driven shopper marketing tactics (digital marketing, sampling, coupons, in:store signage, etc.) in priority mainstream channels and select natural grocery channels, and grassroots marketing activation (e.g. event and guerrilla sampling, brand ambassador training and management, retail sales team oversight, influencer marketing, etc.) in priority local markets. This role will work closely with internal and external partners.
Plan and execute shopper marketing solutions that drive conversion for MWC Snack brands and profitable sales growth for customers:
:Identify specific shopper opportunities, assist with any research and lead project to deliver shopper marketing solutions benefitting both customer and category
:Own the relationship with activation agency and maximize their insights and resources
:Build appropriate and unique partnership with non:competing but aligned CPG organizations to leverage scale and impact on customer plans
:Leverage insights and resources through the utilization of a broad range of data sources, market research findings, tools, analyses, and technology to continually bring new shopper ideas to customer and company
Plan and execute field marketing activities in priority markets in collaboration with brand team, agencies, retail sales force, and key local retailers:
:Manage promotions, shopper marketing, media and creative agencies to develop and execute integrated local marketing plan.
