The rVP Facilities Systems & Support serves as the manager of SSC support team that provides operational and technical assistance for the operations teams in the field throughout the nation. The rVP FSS responsibilities include: development of Best Practices programs and systems, training on programs and systems and providing sales support for POM, Custodial and Grounds for various educational institutions. Deploy subject matter experts in all services to support surveys, startup of new units, interim managers, sales costing, proposals and presentations. Develop, install and support corporate-wide, web-based CMMS program including procedures and systems for deployment at client locations including condition assessment, quality assurance systems, deferred maintenance, and best practices for all services. This position will cover the entire United States and can be located anywhere in the US. Incumbent is guided by a thorough knowledge of business practices, technical proficiency in total facilities management, personnel motivation, team building, leadership, Human Resources management, company services program, and applicable laws and government regulations. Reports to the President of SSC. Key Responsibilities: + Supervises and manages programs in Facilities Services Management, Support Management, Human Resources, Sales, Contract Preparation and Customer Satisfaction. + Plans, organizes, and controls functions and activities of program implementation and support for national accounts. + Participates in surveys, contributes to draft of proposal /costings and sales presentations of potential new business. Has an awareness of competition and market conditions and looks for opportunities for the growth of the company. + Prepares initial contract draft and Statement of Work as needed and reviews with RVP, legal and sales before presentation to client. + Provides training for new sales managers in survey process, company systems / best practices to provide to clients and costing methods. + Responsible for the selection and management of subject matter experts in POM, custodial and grounds management. + Continuous research and development of manuals and best practices in all services to include software solutions and current and future industry practices. Establishes and maintains (reviews) customer satisfaction at a level that ensures account retention. Conducts quality assurance surveys on the field performance of subject matter experts. + Ensures compliance with local, state, federal regulations. Improves skills in facilities management through personnel development and continuous education. + Interviews independent contractors to receive and analyze bids, submit bids and recommendations to client for consideration. Negotiates with outside vendors for preferred agreements. + Performs other services and duties as delegated and serves on a variety of facility committees as required by SSC.SSC Services for Education is a Nationwide Best in Class Facility Service Provider.
