:
Assist in all aspects of the day:to:day administration of employee benefit plans, including oversight of outsourced vendors to resolve escalated issues, implement plan changes and improvements, and monitor service levels. Project manages implementation and enhancements to benefit program. Provide direction and leadership on development of new processes, and redesign of existing processes ensuring that all regulatory guidance is considered. Conducts New Hire On:Boarding, Annual enrollment meetings and benefit informational visits to company sites as needed.
:
Communicate with employees, retirees, and union leaders to resolve escalated issues, and provide benefit education. Point of contact for workflow items that need immediate resolution within a specific timeframe. Serve as liaison between internal and external customer service centers, (i.e. Benefits Express, Business Center, etc.)
:
Lead weekly/bi:weekly vendor calls to ensure that all items related to ongoing issues, implementation, and process changes are being addressed within identified timelines.
:
Attend and provide input in vendor meetings that involve ongoing strategy, data analysis, introduction of new programs, etc.
:
Assist in any employment actions that result in the need for additional benefit education, communication, and support.
:
Subject matter expert in preparation and accuracy review of various employee benefit communication materials, documents, presentations, and benefit websites. Use of best practices and industry knowledge to determine most efficient way of designing processes and position employee messages.
:
Project manages a number of initiatives that require demonstration of strong leadership and must be comfortable providing direction to peers, vendors and junior team members.
:
Coordinate and review summary plan description changes in accordance with plan changes, and administrative requirements. This also includes plan documentation and requirements for carriers and outsourcing vendors. Makes applicable changes where needed after socializing with internal stakeholders. , Conduct research on employee benefit appeals, develop presentations, and present to Employee Benefit Committee.

Required:
:
Bachelors degree
:
Minimum of 4 years of experience in Benefits.
:
Working Knowledge of ERISA, COBRA and other regulatory provisions impacting Health, Welfare and Retirement Plans.
:
Must be able to work independently with minimal guidance.
:
Experience with Microsoft Office products including Word, PowerPoint and Excel.
:
Analytical skills required.
:
Strong Interpersonal Skills, including written and oral communication skills.
:
Customer oriented.
:
Knowledge of Human Resources products, services, and processes.
:
Must foster an inclusive work environment and respect all aspects of diversity.
:
Must demonstrate and value differences in others strengths, perspectives, approaches, and personal choices.
