Job Description:/h3:
Provide mechanical, electrical and system communication service expertise for the repair and ongoing maintenance of Milestones medical products in the US. Speak with customers and Milestone team members on a daily basis to identify and respond to service needs in the field. Use skills to effectively and efficiently troubleshoot and diagnose product performance issues and make necessary repairs, as required.
:Build and maintain quality relationships with customers
:Provide customer phone support for product service needs
:Provide backup Service Partner dispatch support for Service Manager
:Support product quality control inspections
:Diagnose, inspect, recondition, repair, assemble, and service equipment as assigned by the managers
:Complete case service reports and case data management in Salesforce in a consistent and timely manner
:Travel throughout US (up to 75, occasional trip to Europe, and other sites outside US) to provide service repair at customer facilities
:Participate in monthly rotation of afterhours phone service support
:Perform approved weekly overtime on as needed basis with 1.5x of hourly wage for hours worked over 40 hours per week
:Maintain technical and product knowledge on all equipment sold in the field.
:Maintain a clean work area, as well as care for all shop tools, machines, and equipment.
:Maintain a positive and professional working relationship with peers, management, and support resources, with a constant commitment to teamwork and exemplary customer service
:Perform approved weekly overtime on as needed basis with 1.5x of hourly wage for hours worked over 40 hours per week
:Perform all other duties as assigned by management in a professional and efficient manner
:Follow all safety rules and regulations while performing work assignments and adhere to all policies and procedures as specified in company manuals and as directed in the employee handbook
Candidate should be a team player with problem:solving skills that create win:win situations for Milestone and our client base. Flexible, organized and task oriented with ability to travel nationally with occasional international trips.
Bachelors Degree and/or appropriate certifications in
electronics/electrical engineering, computer skills including Microsoft Office, strong
electronics/mechanical background
Experience: 5+ years experience as a service technician, preferably in the field of scientific instrumentation. Customer service and client support experience necessary.
