In a leadership role, apply professional experience and business knowledge to direct, oversee, and manage PSE and Gs pipeline integrity and corrosion control programs. Responsible for the development, execution and management of PSE and Gs federally mandated pipeline integrity program. Direct all activities to ensure compliance with gas transmission pipeline integrity management regulations. Responsible for the pipeline assessment and remediation program. Responsible for pipeline right:of:way management and implementation of security measures concerning the safeguarding of physical pipeline facilities. Coordinate all PSE and G pipeline outages. Direct the maintenance, design, and emergency response activities for all of PSE and Gs gas transmission pipeline and high pressure distribution lines. Responsible for the development and implementation of PSE and Gs gas transmission and distribution system corrosion control program in compliance with federal and state regulations. Develop and maintain gas corrosion control procedures. Direct and supervise MAST associates performing engineering and cathodic protection analysis of gas system component performance, risk and failure. Identify trends and performance gaps. Develop and implement remedial action plans toward meaningful improvement in the safe and efficient operation and performance of PSE and Gs pipelines and steel distribution system. Interface with federal and state regulatory agencies, manage preparation of mandatory reports and provide responses to inquiries on gas transmission and corrosion control issues. Provide emergency on:call coverage in accordance with Gas Delivery requirements.
:BS degree in Engineering.
:Minimum 10 years experience in gas transmission and distribution engineering and corrosion control with extensive experience in gas transmission.
:Demonstrated expertise in corrosion control of gas transmission and distribution facilities.
:Demonstrated expertise in design and operation of gas transmission pipelines.
:Demonstrated knowledge of regulatory requirements for integrity management and corrosion control.
:Demonstrated knowledge of pipeline integrity assessment methods.
:Demonstrated supervisory experience.
:Must have and maintain a valid drivers license.
:This is a safety:sensitive position. D.O.T. testing is required.
Because the job requires driving to company locations and off:site assignments and events, must possess a valid drivers license with a safe and satisfactory driver history.
:Prior experience in pipeline defect evaluation
:Prior experience in directing contractor performing integrity digs and pipeline repair Prior experience in pipeline construction and repair activities.
:Working knowledge of SAP and ArcGIS
