Latin America Regional Office Support, Associate
The Regional Office Support Associate requires an analytical and creative skillset to interact and gather data from Latin America Regional Offices, interpret the data, and produce concise but very informative presentations which tell a compelling story on the health of the IT department in the various Latin America offices, while offering solutions for potential risk factors. The ideal candidate should be intellectually curious, and have a solid work ethic, one who enjoys detailed research into multiple projects, systems and performance indicators, clarifies what issues exist, and quickly analyzes root causes, developing solutions.
Lead Latin America Regional IT Committees:
* This person will support Latin America regional IT committees (Monthly and Quarterly).Preparing materials, communicating and acquiring information needs and presenting decks to the respective Regional Office Support Group managers for review.
* This person will be dealing / negotiating with regional office IT managers in Latin America and Canada offices, reviewing IT regional initiatives, budget and regional portfolio management, and providing oversight on the execution of prioritized initiatives.
* Establishing working relationships with the respective local office CIOOs and IT managers, and becoming the primary contact for committee related efforts.
Management Reporting:
* Establish, prepare, validate and present measurements (KPIs) for Senior Management to be able to monitor, evaluate and direct IT products and services for the region.
* Provide clear and concise reporting to the Regional IT Committee, highlighting problem areas and making recommendations for improvements.
* Continuously evaluating and improving upon the presentation material used for the various committees.
Regional Office Support Activities:
* Become knowledgeable of all the activities/responsibilities of the Region Office Support Group, and work in concept with team members to ensure understanding of the local offices.
* Demonstrated prior experience in the development, deployment and review of KPIs.
* Ability to evaluate, measures and understand the messages KPIs provide, and prepare well thought-out clear and professional presentation for a senior audience.
* Ability to articulate the results of the KPIs, and presenting solutions as to how to improve upon them.
* Strong presentation preparation skills, communicate effectively, coordination skills and advanced PC skills (Word, Excel, Power Point) Ability to manage multiple tasks, multifunctional teams and coordinate with multiple managers.
* Lean Six Sigma, PMI, ITIL or COBIT certification (is a Plus).
* Demonstrates a thorough understanding of the Configuration Management Lifecycle from planning to retirement of CI's.
* Demonstrates a thorough understanding of how Configuration Management Integration with other ITIL processes such as Service Request, Change, and release.
* Knowledge of IT Service Management toolset (HP Service Center, BMC Atrium, etc.).
* Demonstrates a proven record of success as an individual contributor and/or manager in Configuration Management with knowledge/experience in the following areas:
o Procurement
o Asset Tracking
o Hardware/Software Config Management
o CI Interdependency
* Experience in end-to-end management of equipment and equipment storage facility inclusive of:
o equipment integrity
o condition and status
o receiving and shipping
o inventory
o placing orders
o monitoring the storage facility
* Experience developing/leading the communications, marketing, training, and overall adoption efforts in support of IT Assessment Management.
* Experience working with line managers in heavily matrixed environments influencing and driving change with resources in indirect line reporting structures.
