Enterprise Architecture : Enterprise Architect
As a member of the enterprise architecture team within our IT organization, you will report to the Chief Architect. You will drive the development of the future IT landscape, in close collaboration with business leaders, process owners, IT Delivery teams and Solution Architects. You will provide advice and consulting support to our key stakeholders on emerging technologies. You will be responsible for evaluating technology trends through hands on Proof of Concept evaluation and making recommendations for technology advancements aligned to the overall strategic vision of New York Life.

:BS or MS degree in Computer Science, or Information Technology
:Minimum of 5 years of experience in emerging technologies.
:Experience in aligning business problem statements to technical solutions
:Knowledgeable in architecture frameworks
:Ability to handle complexity and ambiguity, and provide structure to complex problems
:Hands on evaluation of technologies as they apply to the New York Life strategic roadmap
:Contribute to the Insurance Modernization initiative by exploring new capabilities coupled with efforts for overall landscape simplification.
:Key contributor or owner in defining and improving enterprise technology standards.
:Advocate data security standards, policies, and procedures.
:Participate in Enterprise review of new technologies.
:Partner with technology leaders and technology architects to define/refine strategy and roadmap.
:Continuous evaluation of emerging technologies in the Insurance market and broader markets that impact Insurance trends
